How we are different
Paws of Enchantment has evolved after almost thirty years in the pet grooming industry combined with a lifelong passion for dogs, balance, and natural healing techniques for animals. Using the finest natural products in a 'day-care' style setting, our holistic approach is designed to embrace the special needs of your pet. Be sure to ask about our essential oil (aromatherapy) spa and wellness treatments, therapeutic mud baths, energetic crystal healing sessions and more.
At Paws of Enchantment, we aim to provide top quality grooming and styling services while building a relationship with your pet in a safe and comfortable environment. Paws of Enchantment has been consistently voted as one of the Metro DC area's top grooming salons by Washingtonian Magazine and our mud bath and aroma balancing treatments were recently featured on ABC news.
We are thrilled to now offer non-anesthetic dental clinics for cats and dogs as well as Reiki, Animal Communication and Chiropractic clinics (call or email for dates), Raindrop Technique essential oil treatments and crystal healing.

Coming into the Mount Rainier traffic circle (headed towards Maryland), you will see a sign for Perry Street immediately upon entering the circle. Bear right onto Perry Street (do not go all the way around the circle); we are the fifth building on the right. There is a parking lot right before you get to our building; we are in a two-story, yellow-beige building with dogs and pawprints painted on it-- across from City Hall and a bus stop. We occupy the bottom floor of the building; the entrance to use is the side entrance, marked with flowerpots. Please ring the doorbell, as we keep the door locked for the safety of your pets.
